The family arrived safely on Saturday afternoon.

Our first walk at midday on Christmas Eve took us to the TOBH, our favourite headland of the Bhaltos Peninsula. Lateron we went to the Community Center to attend a Carol Service which was followed by a Cup of Tea and Mince Pies- a lovely occasion to meet with people and wishing them a happy festive Season. It was mainly an occasion for newcomers to the aerea or visitors as it never was a custom here until recent years.

Samstag-Nachmittag ist auch der Rest der Familie angekommen.

Am 24. gingen wir alle zusammen in den TOBH, einer unserer Lieblingsplätze auf der Bhaltos Halbinsel und dann zum Community Center zu einem Weihnacht-Gottesdienst. Bei einer Tasse Tee und „mince pies“ konnte man anschliessend Freunde treffen und ihnen frohe Festtage wünschen. Allerdings nahmen daran nur jüngere Leute oder „Newcomers“ teil, da dies früher hier nicht Sitte war.
