Back in Lewis

A long journey , 16 hours between the two homes came to an end. Although dead tired during the 4 hours of waiting at Glasgow airport, I was quite fit as soon as I arrived in Lewis. Whether it was the fresh air or the pleasure of being back I do not know. It was hazy all day, so the visibilty during the flights was not too great, most of the snow on the Highland hills has melted and only the ridges are still white.

Eine lange Reise ging nach 16 Stunden zu Ende. Obwohl ich, besonders während der 4 stündigen Wartezeit auf den Anschlussflug in Glasgow todmüde war, fühlte ich mich sofort frisch nachdem wir in Lewis gelandet waren. Leider war die Sicht durch den Dunst behindert, jedoch konnte man sehen, dass der Schnee von den Bergen des Highlands geschmolzen war oder sich bis auf kleine Grate zurückgezogen hat.
